Leopard and Tartan. A combination I have always loved. It's a bit reminiscent of 80's punk, but this is my more refined take on it. Anyway, it has been such a busy week so I am going to keep this post short and sweet!

Snow White In A Winter Wonderland

 This past week we have had several snowfalls in NYC and I am not complaining about it one bit! As a girl from Texas, I will never not get excited about the snow. I am always drawn to wearing red when the city is blanketed in white. The way it stands out will always get me.

Mid Winter Wishlist

As much as we are all getting excited about spring and all the trends that are upon us, I hate to break it to ya, but it is only mid winter! As you may know I absolutely love the cold weather so this is no complaint for me. I made a little mid-winter wishlist to brighten up these dreary days. I have really been into neutrals this winter paired with a deep forest green. Put that color on any tartan piece of clothing and I'm sold.

Oh man! I have been searching for a great pair of overalls for the longest time now. Luckily I found this pair from pacsun and basically have not been able to take them off since I acquired them. They have a boyfriend fit so they are super comfy and the denim wash goes with just about any color.

Comfy cozy

Feeling oh-so-cozy in one of my favorite sweaters from two seasons ago. It is still one of my favorites for days that I am dressing purely for comfort. Wore this outfit while running errands around the East Village the other day. The weather has been so whacky in NYC lately... I did not even need a jacket this day!

How I win The Day

I often get questions from you all asking what exactly my skincare routine is. Well truth is, I have been using Clearasil products since I was about 16. I never really fancied anything else and always have loved the fact that I can just get it from the local drug store. Anyway, I love their new product that contains rasberry and cranberry extracts. Sixties Doll

So in love with this 60's inspired jacket I thrifted a while back. Wearing it around the cobble-stoned streets of the West Village almost takes me back to another time and place... a day dream of the city back in the time when Dylan roamed the same streets that I do now.

Coffee To Warm The Soul

Anyone who knows me is quite aware that I have a bit of a coffee addiction. Morning, afternoon or evening, I am always up for a tasty cup of love and warmth... aka coffee. Yesterday Christina and I ventured around SoHo, and popped into this shop for a little pick-me-up. I am so happy to be back in my wonderful city!

Back in NYC

Hello NYC! So I missed the blizzard and I am back for the slushy sludge that is engulfing the entire city... not nearly as magical as the blanket of power that covered the city a few days ago, but coming from Texas I will settle for this! I had a wonderful vacation, but I am beyond excited to be back in the city for more adventures and getting back to work.
